World Book Day
To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 1st March, 2018, children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite fairy tale character or character from a book or story. There will be different activities taking place throughout the day in each class.
On Friday 2nd February, 2018 we had great fun supporting Number Day and raising money for the NSPCC. The children came to school wearing items of clothing with a number on and then spent the day taking part in exciting number activities. After school we had a cake sale on the playground. Thank you to all our families for the generous donations of cakes which raised over £288.00. See our Number Day Gallery for some more images from the day.
Everyone had fun playing in the snow. See more pictures in our Snow Day gallery
Our Reception Class children entertained parents and family members during their outdoor nativity performance. Everyone in the class had a role to play and they all gave a lovely and very confident performance. Well done to everyone involved!
Parents and carers are invited to join us for our Christmas Production. Ticket order forms have been sent home with the children.
Holy Family Christmas Fair
We would like to congratulate one of our Year 6 pupils and member of our KS2 Running Club, who recently competed and won the Under 11 boys title at the British Modern Biathlon Championships in Solihull. This adds to the British Schools Under 10 title he also won in March this year at Crystal Palace.
The KS2 Running Club, which is organised and led by Miss Dove and Mrs McNulty, should feel proud of their involvement. The pupil’s parents thanked staff for the extra Friday evening training which helped him take 8 seconds off his pre-qualifying run times.
His brother, a former pupil, also had success at the same event, finishing 7th in the Under 16 boys event. Well done.
Many congratulations and we look forward to watching your future achievements.

European Languages Day
To celebrate European Languages Day we had a French Day. Children came to school dressed in the colours of the French flag (red, white and blue). During the day children were taught their lessons in French, they had a French themed school lunch and got to visit a French themed market. Please click here to see our gallery.
